FUTURE undone - An experimental arrangement on the future of the museum and the museum of the future

An exhibition of the University of Applied Arts in Vienna is curated by participants of the ecm - educating / curating / managing master program 2016-18.

What is the importance of museums in the future? How are social conditions negotiated in them? By looking at history, present and future, FUTURE undone critically deals with relationships and conflicts between museums and society. The project explores museums as memories, places of remembrance and public spaces, as well as exploring its economies. It shows historical and current utopias, complaints, protests, visions and dreams. Discussions are power relations and exclusions. FUTURE undone invites you to think about the museum of the future and the future of the museum in a collective process.
