StadtFabrik: New Work. New Design

Based on concepts by designers Lena Gold and Magdalena Reiter, in the framework of a Social Furniture Workshop project in the exhibition StadtFabrik: New Work. New Design., everyday furniture will be devised and realized at the MAK together with people qualifying for asylum who are about to move into their own apartments for the first time.

The resultant designs will augment the Social Furniture Collection and after the exhibition closes, will be made available as open source for other uses within the context of the common good. The new furniture pieces will be presented on the occasion of the closing event for the exhibition StadtFabrik: New Work. New Design.
