Salva Sanchis (ES) – Radical Light

This is dance without any ifs and buts, but with a strong pulse instead. Salva Sanchis and four dancers completely rely on the music of discodesafinado in this one-hour piece: 120 beats per minute of minimal techno combined with warm, experimental electronic music are both stimulating and infectious. In collaboration with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker Sanchis has created such stunning pieces for Rosas as A Love Supreme – whose reworked version is also shown at this year’s ImPulsTanz Festival – and Desh. In this quintet, the Spanish choreographer and productive creator of original works focuses on the magic of physical movement and the fascination of complex togetherness.
