Rico Diamanti visits Format(*.strk) to perform some of his songs in a improvised live-set. Armed with SH09, MS20, MPC1000 and a pocket-Echo, he puts all MIDI controls in the shade.
They call him “the human seqencer”!
Diamanti goes for forcefully modulated melodies embedded in solid drum sequences that quickly move you into gear. His earlier music is described as electro-kraut or tech-pop.
Rico calls it praxis-punk.
