Re-tracing Home Vienna - Building Workshops

Built your „ideal home“ with us!

Based on the outcome of the drawing workshop we will co-design and built an „ideal home“ installation. How do you and other „Wiener“ want to live? How should your flat look like?

Our “work in progress” building workshop shall enable participants to conceptualize, plan and realize an open-ended manifestation of “home” that will be designed and budgeted through the daily exchange on site.

RE-TRACING HOME is a project by Guerilla Architects in cooperation with Caritas, future.lab, Architecture for Refugees and Communication for Development Network as well as supported by Hans Sauer Stiftung as part of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.
In the scope of the so-called “refugee crisis” Guerilla Architects aim to develop experimental alternatives to conventional “refugee architecture” hand in hand with newcomers. A two-phase participatory workshop and guided city walks shall provide the basis of an “ideal home” installation.
