At Rapper reading Rapper (#RLR) musicians of the Austrian and international Hip Hop Scene literarily reinterpret works by big names and figures of the rap scene, who have fallen into oblivion. The only rule for the evening is that no one can recite own works. The hosts lead through the evening like a late-night-show with charm and know-how, chatting about the current artistic works of their guests.

#RLR separates Rap from its musical component and focusses on the written word. In this manner, a new found space for a new kind of lyric(s) is created, which holds the potential to rise and evolve to an unknown potential. Every evening, six guests are invited to perform their chosen lyrics, accompanied by DJs. It does not matter whether the texts are in English or in German, whether original or self-translated…every evening creates its own unique combination of unexpected moments of humour and profoundness. After the show, the programme will be completed by a fine DJ Line-up in the bar.
