The role of the nutcracker and prince is interpreted as American R'n'B singer, the spoiled sugar figures are now bored bloggers with Instagram celebrity. Both classic and modern villains and heroes play a role: Dracula, Super Mario and Darth Vader have special performances!

The little girl Clara was left alone in a garbage dump while her parents go begging on the streets of a rich, foreign land. Hoping to find her parents again, Clara falls for a well-dressed man whom she hopes will help her with the desperate search. However, this is a black market organ trader, on the prowl for a young, healthy heart, which he wants to sell to an old, sick man. The nutcracker, the prince, is broken and has lost his former glory. All the while bloggers tell us everything we want to know (and do not want to know) about the show. In a stage set that is bewitchingly close to reality, everyone seeks the feeling of safety and community.

Breakdance, hip-hop and ballet are mixed with stunning visual effects, as well as parts of the original music and favorite sections of the Tchaikovsky score, and tell this crazy and remarkable story - a story with the startling resemblance of our real-world today.
