Lisa Truttmann

A short film program with experimental works shot by Lisa Truttmann in California and Shanghai. It deals with rural as well as urban landscapes and how socio-political and economic conditions register in them. At the same time, the artist traces the cultural peculiarities of the respective places she has been in for a longer time and tries to bring them into line with her own observations of a "stranger". In subtle image / sound montages, this usually creates more apprenticeships than explanations, as well as projection screens for future narratives.
