Design made in Romania!

This year's host country of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is Romania. In addition to the thematic focus, the regional focus is particularly evident in the presence of numerous Romanian designers, who are presented in various ways across all festival formats are represented.
The Romanian Design Week, for example, took place for the fifth time in 2017, attracting designers from all over the country. There is also an increasing focus on international networking, as presented by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna. At the same time, young designers try to maintain the special features of Romanian design.
