Burggasse 21 invites you for an exhibition "hypodens" to their cellar rooms, a place that is an exciting break to otherwise classic presentations, which has been transformed by interventions of six artists.

In the dark 170m2 space the visitor is confronted with moving nebulae, neongrelle animal shapes, twigs, dark shadow play, mirror cabinet, and sound-producing snail traces. "Hypodens" brings together artistic activities with the permeability of an intermediate world that manifests itself at the interface between nature and artificiality, fact and fake, reality and illusion.

Hans Ahnert, Robert Gabris, Olivier Hölzl, Eleni Palles, Christiane Peschek, and Philipp Pess are linked to nature, processes, social interactions, as well as technical and digital processes of the modern world in interactive room installations, illuminated objects, photographs, sound works and visuals lie.
