The All Japan Youth Orchestra is coming back to Vienna in the course of its European Tour 2017. What makes this orchestra so special is the background of the musicians: All of them are young talented upper secondary school students form all over Japan, gathering every year under the baton of renowned conductor Yoshinori Kawachi to do what they all love the most: Music.

Together with The Symphonic Youth Orchestra Vienna under the baton of conductor Daniel Muck the young musicians from Japan and Austria will perform a joint friendship concert in one of Vienna's most beautiful sacral concert venues, the Votivkirche. A broad musical repertoire representing both the Japanese as well as the Austrian culture will make this concert a truly international evening. From traditional pieces to original compositions and culminating in an adaptation of Beethoven's 9th symphony it will inspire every visitor - and that in the wonderful setting of the Votivkirche, Vienna's official parish for all tourists.
