Solo exhibition “Dancing on Thin Ice” by Lisl Ponger

Taking her cue from the circular shape of das weisse haus’ upper gallery, Lisl Ponger presents her most recent photographic work Dancing on Thin Ice (2020) in conjunction with a new site-specific installation. Continuing Lisl Ponger’s investment in ethnology critique and her use of transgression as an artistic tactic, the exhibition contributes to current debates on restitution, white supremacism and institutional power.
