Powerful, expressive and capacious, this is how PHACE´s programme presents itself: between reality and abstraction, recurring elements form a pulsating constant. Reappearing again and again, in altered form. The interplay of repetition and change incorporates the works of the contrasting composers Wolfgang Mitterer, Gerard Grisey, Zeynep Gedizlioğlu, Samir Odeh-Tamimi and François Sarhan. Static, repetitive, pulsating – an evening where recurrence creates constants, changing them momentarily.
