Buckingham-born Briton Amber Bain has given up her youthful ambitions to become a politician when her father gave her an acoustic guitar and paved her way to a promising musical career. It did not take long until the young newcomer caught the attention of producers George Daniel and Matthew Healy with her dreamy and perfectly produced alternative pop.

The three of them worked on The Japanese House's first EP "Pools To Bathe In" at the beginning of 2015. The melancholic debut was followed in November 2015 by the EP "Clean". The successor exudes both electronic peaceableness, as well as luxurious serenity and combines influences of Imogen Heap and The 1975 (in their opening act in 2016, inter alia, played in Austria). In 2016 and 2017, another EP followed in each case.

The Japanese House - Maybe You're the Reason

For their concert in Vienna The Japanese House could then perhaps even arrive with a whole album - if you believe the rumors, then they will release namely in the spring of 2019 via Dirty Hit a long player. You can stay excited!
