Interspace Goran Škofić

The Croatian artist Goran Škofić will be showing several video installations as part of the exhibition "Interspace" in the sehsaal. These thematize the human body as a link between the exhibition space and the work itself. The title "Interspace" derives from the idea of ​​using different types of spaces - e.g. with virtual, actual, mental etc. - to play or to connect with each other. The concrete implementation takes place, for example, through gallery floor reflections, the corners of the room, light and darkness as well as other media structuring the space.

Goran Škofić's artistic interests are current issues such as social control, manipulation, physical inadequacies, social rejection, the effects of globalization and absurd everyday situations. His works are always characterized by a great deal of humor, on the one hand treated serious social issues and on the other hand, the interest of the audience is won.
