Texts and poems by two of Austria's best contemporary authors, H.C. Artmann and Wolfgang Bauer, have been set to music by actor Helmut Bohatsch and the jazz trio LSZ—Löschel, Skrepek, Zrost—and transformed into a literary-musical collage. Helmut Bohatsch is a virtuoso performer of the most absurd characters, and the musical settings by the LSZ trio are inspired by the rhythm of the language. Let yourself be transported at Sam's Bar into an evening full of smoky melancholy, ironic wordplay, liberated jazz—dark, morbid, folkloric, eerie, and absurd.
