Spanning several decades, this exhibition presents around 50 of Helga Philipp’s most important works, highlighting the wide range of her output across painting, drawing, printed graphics, and object art.
Regarded as a leading figure in Austrian concrete art and op-art, Philipp (1939–2002) developed a precise, conceptually grounded visual language as early as the 1960s. Her oeuvre, positioned between geometric abstraction, kinetic formal language, and the direct experience of perception, explores motion, mathematical principles, serial structures, and interactive elements, creating a distinctive artistic vision that bridges rigorous structure and sensory engagement.
