Wim Vandekeybus / Ultima Vez (BE) – Mockumentary of a Contemporary Saviour

A saviour has come, a rescuer of humankind! Whenever the situation becomes critical, false prophets appear, and, lo and behold, they attract throngs of followers. In his latest ensemble work, dance berserker Wim Vandekeybus turns this material into a science fiction piece that takes the form of a fictitious documentary: a destructive force annihilates life on earth. But there are a few survivors left. They become immortal, follow a child and reach a safe haven. Which turns out to be a trap, however. Conflicts break out and the question arises whether these people should actually be saved.
