Walpurgis night - Walpurgisnacht, in Germanic folklore, also called Hexennacht "Witches' Night", is believed to be the night of a witches' meeting on the Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz Mountains, a range of wooded hills in central Germany between the rivers Weser and Elbe. The night is celebrated by celebrated by dressing in costumes, playing pranks on people, and creating loud noises meant to keep evil at bay. Many people also hang blessed sprigs of foliage from houses and barns to ward off evil spirits, or they leave pieces of bread spread with butter and honey, called ankenschnitt, as offerings for phantom hounds.

Let us revive the traditions from the old times, make a pact with the devil, and forget christian morals for at least one night.

Mothers of the Land is a rock group founded in Vienna 2012, by Georg Pluschkowitz (Pastor) on guitar, Johannes 'Jon' Zeininger on bass and Jakob Haug on the drums. After having tried different formations, they found their ideal constellation in 2015 with Jack Jindra (Locracy) on the second guitar.
Having played dozens of concerts with international headliners like Asteroid, Elder and The Skull, the band provides powerful performances that lure in the audiences deeply through the surreal worlds they create.
