This is the Uplifting Part Ensemble Pamplemousse

"This is the Uplifting Part" is a collection of five short films by the American composer collective Ensemble Pamplemousse, released at the end of February 2017 at the Parlor Tapes in Chicago. The collective consists of six composers / performers and has existed since 2003. The individual contributors of the ensemble are important representations of the new music scene in the USA, but they also function as a collective, almost like a band. The clip-like films are formed by the same compositional ideas as the pieces themselves.
