SUB 2.0 - New Ideas and Possibilities for 2018

A lot has happened in and around SUB in very short time and we have come to see this as more than a club but a community of musicians and artists, political activists, dancers, non-conformists as well as great and warm-hearted people in general.

We believe that most of you have already heard the "sad" news that sub has had to stop hosting club-nights by the beginning of the new year.

However we do strongly belive that this is not the end but the beginning of something bigger.

First of all the venue will still be open to all types of events and projects that do not involve our beloved booming of bass-drums and a loud soundsystem at late hours.

We are already starting to set up a project sudio for electronic productions and live recording sessions.

Apart from that we will still be open for political events, lectures, dance sessions and poetry events.. etc.

If you feel you have ideas that may contribute to SUB staying a culturally vibrant place and would like to play a part in the next months that we still have this space please feel very much invited to join us on wednesday or contact us should you not have time.

We are also looking to find a new space where we can be loud and keep the music going. There definetely seems to be a strong need for a good underground venue in Vienna and we hope that we can provide this again soon. Any help finding new spots is extremely welcome at this point and we are very open for enthusiastic people who will help build and shape the next spot.

All in all, we hope to see many of you Super Unusual Beings and keep the good vibes going as we already miss you.
