Sound performance at 8PM

The displacement of mechanical watches by electronic means that the sometimes annoying sound of passing time almost disappears. But what happens when you are curious about the ticking and what if the ticking of several alarm clocks is combined? The performative demonstration by Margit Busch (it can also be called a concert) will give an impression of it.
Ulrike Königshofer works with the perception of silence and asks what you hear when there is nothing left to hear. It amplifies a corresponding acoustic signal to such an extent that noises occur which are generated within the electronics and make the player itself the sound source. The installation creates what is undesirable elsewhere.
