We are back with the new format! And in the new location!

Hands-on artist talk, where excellent, creative individuals talk about their live setups, how did they arrive at the specific sound and share pro tips how to start playing music and synth away!

This time we welcome Bridget Chapel.

Bridget is an electronic musician, sound engineer, queer sound activist and a cellist, based in Melbourne. She is performing solo as Hextape and running Melbourne SoundSchool, as well as Melbourne Squat Orchestra. MSS is an award-winning independent sound school for femmes, queers and non-binary folks offering classes in electronic music, DJing, Ableton and so much more
Her solo project Hextape is a trap witch soundtrack to you leaving your boyfriend in a 90s sports car full of synthesizers.

Sounds Queer? is about creating a safer space through music. Join us for workshops, skill sharing sessions, introductions to synth and electronic music, jam sessions and networking events Share your skills and passion for music! No prior experience or any musical knowledge is necessary!

The project prioritizes women, girls, queers, trans, intersex and non-binary people but there's no identity policy. Everyone is welcome but before coming think about how easy is it for you to get access to this kind of skills and tools? How easy is it for you to feel comfortable and safe at a workshop with strangers? Please bear in mind that you might be asked to give space to others at a workshop first.
