Joanna Warsza is a curator and theorist. Many of her exhibition and research projects focus on the study of social and political agendas, such as the invisibility of the Vietnamese population in Warsaw, with Israeli youth delegations in Poland or the legacy of post-Soviet architecture in the Caucasus. She was associate curator of the 7th Berlin Biennale (2012), which focused on the political power of art, and led the public program of Manifesta 10 in St. Petersburg (2014). She is currently for the artistic director of Public Art Munich, a performative three-month program for art in public space in Munich, which under the title "Game Changers" looks at the city’s history from the Bavarian Soviet Republic through denazification and the 68 movement to the present day.

As part of the series “Political Futures”, she discusses with Vanessa Joan Müller about the relationship between art, politics and public space.
