The young career of Lukas Marxt (* 1983) is remarkable, both because of the recognition he receives in the film and exhibition context and because of his artistic output and the determined curiosity with which he approaches his projects. Marxt searches for inhospitable, remote landscapes and extreme weather conditions in order to explore the medial effect of natural events. His interventions in these places leave their traces alone for the filmic recording, are fleeting like fog, wind and rain.
