Open House Bethoven Museum

Three apartments connected to Beethoven have long been part of the Vienna Museum. Nevertheless, there has not been a comprehensive Beethoven Museum in the city of his work. This gap has now been closed: The Beethoven apartment Heiligenstadt in Probusgasse 6 in the 19th district was extended by a small memorial to a large Beethoven Museum. It illuminates the life and work of the classic on the latest scientific stand. The intimate garden located on the backside is - next to the actual house - an oasis of peace during the day another highlight.
