Nan Jombang Dance Company

As part of the Europalia Arts Festival Indonesia, the celebrated Indonesian choreographer Ery Mefri brings his Nan Jombang Dance Company to Vienna.

Deeply rooted in the traditions of the spiritual and militant arts of the Minangkabau ethnic minority in West Sumatra, the dance group incorporates elements of modern Western movement while addressing contemporary themes that Minang society faces.
