The Company takes the audience ton a journey to incredible India and presents a spicy mix of mystical, semi-classical Indian dance, cheerful folklore from Rajasthan, and the latest choreographies from glitz and glamour of Bollywood.
The Padma Dance Company was founded in 2000 by Sophie Fuernkranz under the name "Indian dance group PADMA". Sophie's goal is to spread her joy of Indian dance and entertain the audience.
The Padma Dance Company mainly performs its own choreographies, whereby the lyrics are usually interpreted in dances. With great commitment, she performs at various events; such as Indian festivals, intercultural events and charity events in favor of Indian aid projects.
