”MOTHER URAÑO” is a band formed by the two Copenhagen based experimental duos I Love My Mother and Uraño. Uraño, consisting of Søren Høi (DK) on amplified drums and Jonatan Uranes (NO) on electric bass and computer[max/msp], plays harsh improvised noise nerdcore glitch-rock and is known for its extremely energetic performances. Szymon Pimpon (PL) on drums and Tobias Pfeil (NO) on vocals and guitar form the second duo, I Love My Mother. They explore grooves and abstract soundscapes in fiery improvisations. The bands have toured Poland, Germany, Norway and Denmark, and are curating and running the concert series ”___ is Happening” in Copenhagen and Oslo. Now the two duos make up “Mother Uraño”, a super-group that performs as a quartet, where the musicians’ distinctive sounds, combined with abstract live visuals, collide in sonic outbursts and expressive performances.
