Imagination, speculation and description, three differently charged modes of address, are used in this presentation to develop ideas in front of an audience. The spectator does not directly participate in the performance but nevertheless plays an active role in the encounter. Ideas around artificial nature, catastrophic constructions and the autonomy of objects are processed through speech, gesture and motion. Speech and physical actions are accorded equal value while being used to materialise a virtual performance within the mind of the spectator.

Mette Ingvartsen is a Danish choreographer and dancer. From 1999 she studied in Amsterdam and Brussels, where in 2004 she graduated from the school of performing arts P.A.R.T.S.
