Lee Paehler A DEAD FLAMINGO ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD

We’re pleased to present ‘a dead flamingo on the side of the road’ the first solo exhibition in Vienna by Lee Paehler, an Austrian painter and photographer whose childhood and teenage years were divided between Austria and Florida, US. Her work describes a world that is lush, colorful, but lost. The exhibition will feature paintings and installations that portray a world in which the American Nightmare is alive and well, childhood memories become gloomy visions and the mundane turns strange.
