Under very differing conditions, Kinda Hassan, an artist born in Beirut, takes a look at the bodies of city folk, performers, religious demonstrators, and her own self. Whether following the rhythms of a choreography, whether observing patiently, investigating painstakingly, or in poetic form, the search for the soul can be translated into heterotopic intellectual spaces, whose liminal experiences and translations majestically encompass and traverse both the Middle East and Western Europe.
