'This is a performance about my life, and the history of people like me.
Because I like making lists, it comes in three parts: skin, survival, and identity.
Starting at the surface, working down to practical day-to-day matters (overcoming alienation and avoiding either dying or denying your own existence), and ending with a deeper sense of belonging (and how scary that can be to find...)
I'll be providing some stories useful to people interested in anti-racism, diasporas, gender transformation, different types of feminism talking to each other, trans politics, LGBTI history, and queer health.
I also might sing at the end.'
