I have to constantly look up the word contingency. Periodically - at least once a year - I come across it. In the first place, I hope to conclude on the meaning of quotas ("limited maximum quantities (available goods)") or possibly the meaning of continent ("mainland"). Usually, I finally look in the Duden and find "(Philos., Without plural) contingent," which means "accidentally; Really, or possibly, but not necessary. " This does not help either. For contingency means a basic openness and uncertainty of human life experience. This is no coincidence that I have no understanding of the basic openness of the social world. Even though I appreciate the idea, I obviously can not deal with the openness of all possibilities. Looking at the field of photography, this basic openness would mean that there would be new, unprecedented perspectives. Subsequently, however, the question arises whether the differences which are conceivable in infinity are important for a subject.
