The exhibition AESTHETICS OF CHANGE: 150 Years of the University of Applied Arts Vienna casts a glance back onto 150 years of the University’s history, while at the same time daring to look into the future. It outlines theses for the future and advocates for a reorientation of education, art, and society.

It often seems that our geopolitical and socioeconomic system is constantly threatening to collapse and, as it were, to reconstitute itself. Is it precisely this threat that creates a situation of permanent political inflexibility? How can we become accomplices in a transformation that points the way towards humanity?
