In a current retrospective, Florian Lang combines works from the field of painting and collage with time-based and walk-in installations on around 300m² and two floors of a historic building. The illusion space created in his paintings is transferred to the real exhibition space by breaking the classic format of the rectangular stretcher and staggering the work into the space via a modular framework system reminiscent of half-timbered buildings. As a result, not only the backs of the pictures gain relevance, but at the same time the observers enter Florian Lang's collage playground and thus become actors in the moving images.
