Endlich reif für das ich / finally ready for me
The musoä is an art project / art space developed and realized by Reinhold Zisser in cooperation with Thomas Garcia.
It is located in the 22nd district of Vienna, the Donaustadt, at the intersection of the so-called Mühlwasser and the A23 motorway (Südosttangente).
The two artists describe this place as a hybrid of modern architecture and natural landscape. In a town planning designation it is a fallow land, colloquially this non-place is called "Gstetten".
Over the course of decades, traces of this area have been recorded. On the one hand, by people who came to this place and used it for their needs. On the other hand, through the confrontation of nature with architecture. This positioned itself rigidly in the landscape and forced an adjustment. This created a prosthetic relationship.
The inscription of the musoä - Museum of Social Aesthetics happens through the first exhibition "finally ready for me", which appropriates the place without interfering with it.
