An exhibition about the luck to ride a bicycle

BICYCLES is conceived and staged A LOVE STORY of "World Office / Association for the Promotion and Preservation of Cultural Property". Life-size portraits of eccentric wheel pioneers of the 19th century, lovable family snapshots from all over the world, moving moments in cycling history, enjoyable film clips and rare bicycles merge into a homage to the bicycle.
A multimedia installation in the form of a 35 meter long and 8 meter high room diagonal forms the historical and acoustic main axis of the show. On both sides of the axis, musical islands of sound enliven photoprinted flags, large-scale projections and exhibits from 200 years of cycling history. Original stitches and graphics along the walls complete the installation. A smaller hall will focus on the future of the bicycle with a focus on urban mobility and sustainability. The water tower in the courtyard of the area is not accessible to visitors due to its dilapidated nature. However, the two ground floor rooms are made peephole holes in the Fensterverplankung and wait with an obscure surprise.
