Artist's Talk – Patrycja Domanska
With her solo exhibition STIMULI, the designer Patrycja Domanska provides personal insight into her creative process, which often takes visual or haptic stimuli as a starting point. Objects of urban everyday life can act as “stimuli,” as can images from the Internet or nature. Modularity, the greatest possible freedom of movement, and lightness characterize the objects of the designer, who will, in addition to a selection of already realized projects, also present new products for the first time in the context of the exhibition. The three-dimensional works encounter one another in a variety of settings in a display designed by Domanska, and are accompanied by photographic compositions in which the products are confronted with their “stimuli.”
