Renowned international artists and experts delve into the many facets of technological progress with an entertaining series of lectures, discursive contributions and performances.

Curse and opportunity: almost nothing dominates modern life like the digital and technological developments of recent decades, and it goes without saying that technologies in the so-called fourth industrial revolution have influenced artistic processes as well. Artists transform them, and in doing so put these new technologies at the center of society. The Art & Technology Line-up brings international experts and artists together for a demonstration of how innovation and digitization processes have impacted art, with a rapid and varied series of lectures and performances on Tuesday, 14 November 2017, in the Columned Main Hall at MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art.
