ANNA VASOF Films

Anna Vasof is an architect and multi-media artist. She studied architecture at the University of Thessaly, Greece and Transmediale Art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Her videos and short films have been presented at several international festivals and some of them have won awards. She is currently working on the conception and development of innovative mechanisms for producing critical, thematic videos.

Art and short films that are nowhere to be seen!
Six times a year, the Künstlerhaus, the society of Austria's visual artists, presents unusual moving pictures that are otherwise hard to see. The title of the film series here is to be understood in two senses: on the one hand, as a cinema that is detached, that is, free from all conventions, exciting, bizarre, weird and provocative cinematic works. On the other hand, free admission allows as many people as possible to discover this exciting journey of discovery into unusual worlds of images.
