Curtain up for the popular plugged-in series of sound artists! The new season starts with a surprise surprise: "BartolomeyBittmann" and "Alma", two internationally successful ensembles, represent the young generation of artists in the country in an outstanding way. Both stand for an innovative as well as tradition-conscious approach to the Austrian music culture and meet for the first time the sound of a symphony orchestra. While the five-piece band «Alma» breathes new life into old traditions and combines volksmusical down-to-earthness with complex arrangements, the cellist Matthias Bartolomey and Klemens Bittmann lead violin and mandola to their new instruments, which are anchored in the classical musical tradition. The result of this unusual encounter allows the spontaneity and the joy of improvising jazz aesthetics as well as the unexpected bows of Austrian folk music. Fun and listening pleasure are guaranteed!
