The All Japan Youth Orchestra is coming back to Vienna in the course of its European Tour 2017. What makes this orchestra so special is the background of the musicians: All of them are young talented upper secondary school students form all over Japan, gathering every year under the baton of renowned conductor Yoshinori Kawachi to do what they all love the most: Music.

Following an intensive rehearsal phase the orchestra starts a tour through Europe that brings them this year again to the MuTh hall in Vienna. In this very special way, almost 2.000 young musicians from Japan have benefited from rehearsing and touring some of the most prestigious stages in Europe and the world. The intensive musical activity and the touring constitutes at the same time an invaluable possibilty for all participating students to broaden their minds and to get to know foreign countries and cultures.
